1940s French Children Rex Postcard Bonne Annee Happy New Year

This pretty and colorful French New Year's postcard is by the famous photographer and postcard maker Rex. It is dated 1942.

It is made from a real photo, then colorized and decorated with foliage for the bouquet the children hold between them.

It bears a French stamp on the front and is inscribed in French of the verso. It is in good sent condition with fairly crisp corners but does have a couple of tiny thumb tack holes where someone once posted it on a bulletin board. Look closely at all of our photos for your best assessment of the condition.

It measures 3.5" by 5.5".
