These modernist cups and saucers were made by Mikasa in Japan in the 1960s.
The cups are Mediterrania Empire Gold 4994 and were paired with various saucers. These particular saucers are Mediterrania Sunda YE-4035, hardest to find of the mid-century Mikasa lines, and have a retro modern design.
The cups fit snugly in the inter rings of the saucers. The cups are a speckled mustard yellow.
All pieces are in very good condition. The cups measure 2.5" high and have 3.25" diameter. The saucers are 6.6" in diameter.
