These extraordinary individual-serving rice bowls have a perfect interior white glaze for holding rice and lovely earthenware lids to keep the rice warm.
But the beauty comes from the red oriental leaf design on the exterior of both bowls and lids, a motif repeated in abbreviation inside the bowls and lids.
The bowls measure 5.25" in diameter and 3.25" high with the lid on. They are in very good condition. One bowls has a slight imperfection on its rim, probably from the firing process, which is shown in one of our photos. Our photos show the over-all condition very well.
These bowls would are all stamped on the bottom, but we cannot decipher the imprint though it could be Japanese.
The set would make a colorful addition to any table setting, particularly ideal for any Asian dishes.
