Very chic with tiny pink flowers accented with very thin black lines on a cream color background, this sugar and creamer set is quite different. Angular lines in the shape and handles set them apart. Signed by the well-known Z.S. & Co. Bavaria. The inside is a white iridescent mother-of-pearl porcelain. Hand-painted (you can see the tiny slightly irregular brush marks on the black lines) with gold handles and around the rims of both pieces. Even the handles are outlined. Dated early 1900's up to 1930's.
Some wear on the gold rims, but no chips or cracks. Sugar bowl measures 3-inches to the top of the lid and 5-1/4 across from handle to handle. Creamer is 2-inches tall and 4-3/4 across from the spout to the edge of the handle. A nice addition to the Bavarian collector of fine china.
