Widely known to millions of faithful readers are the romantic novels written by British author Eleanor Hibbert (1906-1993). Victoria Holt was one of several pen names she used. Another name she used was Jean Plaidy and Philippa Carr. When she died at age 86 more than 100 million of her books had been sold. These book club editions include a combined book with her first novel in 1960 "Mistress of Mellyn" combined with her second book, "Kirkland Revels" in 1962.
Separately are "The Shadow of the Lynx," (1971) and "The House of a Thousand Lanterns" (1974). All of them were found stored in a cardboard box in an old farmhouse attic. They are in very good condition with all pages tight and intact. However, the dust jackets are a bit worse for wear around the edges.
