Oriental Paper Hand Fan Signed and Stamped

Hand painted horses gallop across this fan with manes and tales flying. The signature on the side is flanked with two faded official stamps but a translation remains a mystery. The style of the artist is unique. Nostrils, eyes, and hooves of the horses suggest an individual technique that should be identifiable. Ribs and sides of the fan are bamboo with a silk and beaded string. The slightly curved side braces close to form a tapered top. Glue to adhere the paper fan to the sides has become visible probably due to its age which is estimate to be 1970's and there is a tiny tear in one section of the paper. Measures 17 inches when fully opened and 10-inches tall.
