Puffy Framed Colorful Geranium Embroidered With Wool
30% OFF! Exquisite colors embroidered in wool in a puffy or padded frame. Fanciful geranium blossom is sewn with red, pink, and fuscia with orange centers. Leaves are multiple shades of green. The padding underneath gives it a depth you don't see in ordinary framed embroidery works. Feels like cotton batting (for quilts). Done on an ecru or off-white linen fabric. There is no glass covering. Nice dark heavy frame measures 14-1/4 inches by 18-1/4 inches and 1-1/2 deep. Paper backing has been damaged, but in no way affects the front presentation. Wire in good condition. Weighs nearly 2-1/2 pounds. Circa 1960's.
