Pair Antique Cut Glass Urns/Jars - Deep Cut & Large w/Lids
Gorgeous Pair of Antique Cut Glass Lidded Urns. We believe these to be of English origin, although they are without a makers mark, which is not uncommon for antique cut glass. They are very heavy, with a deep Diamond cross-cut design around the middles, and lids. The rims and grasp-rings around the lid have a tight, cross-hatch cut design, and the remainder are large facets. The footed bases are Diamond shaped, and quite impressive in their mass.
These are not perfect, but they have no cracks, and no repairs. Each base (foot) has a couple substantial chips, but they can be put to the back. A couple minor nicks on the rims, and one finial has a smooth sliver off (shown in photo of finial), but that's barely noticeable.
They measure 16-1/2"H overall, 10-1/2"H without lids, 6-1/2"W overall, and 5-3/8"W without lids.
