FABULOUS 1960's unused New Orleans SIGNED linen tea towel by designer Suzanne Meister for Parisian Prints. Wonderful scenic novelty print.
Charming illustrations of famous Decatur Street Market, Absinthe House and ANTOINE'S Restaurant in New Orleans FRENCH QUARTER. Beautiful light aqua background shows off some of the greatest landmarks in city.
Illustrations printed in BRILLIANT aqua, grey, bronze, gold, black and white. Interspersed are magnificent smaller details including lamp posts, paddle-wheel boats and bricks. Same design printed each towel end.
Towel has original label: "Parisian Prints - All Pure Linen - RN 14788. SUZANNE MEISTER signature bottom right. Circa 1960's.
Colors BRIGHT, measures 29" x 15 5/8" in excellent, crisp, bright, clean, unused condition w/ original folds.
