President John Kennedy was a frequent visitor before he took office, and many other well known dignitaries and movie stars of the time.

Many cherished New England regional specialties and family sized recipes that have stood the test of time, and original Nestle chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Originally it was the `Toll House Chocolate Crunch Cooky', now known as Nestle Toll House cookie; was accidentally developed by Ruth Wakefield in early 1930's.
