Exquisite 1940's German Fire Opal Glass Earrings – RARE 1940's Vintage German Opal Glass Beads
Closing studio, fantastic SALE ...35% to 70% off retail. Over 25 years exhibiting and selling in art shows and museum stores throughout U.S.
Delicate, small oval German cabochon dome beads have a lot of dimension & depth. Luminous hues of fiery color including blue, purple, pink, aqua and green.
These rare circa 1940's vintage German beads originated from old jewelry store in Germany that closed down many years ago.
No two beads are exactly alike; that's part of their natural beauty. Photos do not fully capture exact color hues; wait until you see up close. WOW!
The `fire opal' German beads were made to look like opal gems. Bead makers during early years were known for their excellence in imitating gemstones by using glass, made jewelry affordable and nearly impossible to tell them apart.
Pierced earrings measure approx 1/3" long by 1/4" wide, on a gold plated post. All components are new except vintage glass.
This European Art Glass jewelry collection combines antique, vintage and new glass in my original designs, available only at Tapestry Collectibles.
A note from Beth the artist - For over 25 years my art studies has taken me on different journeys. Many of my designs have been inspired by a life long passion of world travel.
I love using vintage and antique glass collected from European travel, designing a new piece that reflects beauty and preserves glass as ORIGINALLY made, yet brings forth a new statement of my own.
These stylish beauties will be your favorite pair and go with everything!!
Will make a FABULOUS gift!!
