Most beautiful all original antique silk velvet hand sewn cape in Rohmer style ..... generally excellent condition from France circa 1875 Chocolate brown silk velvet with long small front part ..... pretty ornate with small black hand made silk ruffles around the cape edges. Closed at front with hook ..... under a beautiful velvet bow. Inside fully lined with black silk and complete hand sewn ..... To this cape belongs a beautiful straw bonnet or hat of hand woven straw,ornate with small black ribbons around the edges and to hold with small ribbons under the doll chin. A small rack of wire inside hold it always in perfect form..... A most beautiful and rare to find set for your french poupee.... perfect for a Rohmer... Huret or similar early doll. My model Fashion has a smaller size from 14" ( 36 cm ) but it will fit also a little larger doll also very well....
