Most beautiful grand size bisque doll by Simon and Halbig .... called " Santa " .... 32" ( around 82 cm ) A very pretty child in rare grand size with excellent detail of painting , beautiful body with original finish and nice antique costume. She look´s like on really little girl with her large size and here bisque socket head is from fine quality and painting. She has wonderful large amber brows glass sleep eyes that works perfect with dark painted and upper mohair lashes , brush-stroked and feathered brows. Accented nostrils and a open mouth with outlined lips , white porcelain teeth and pierced ears. Blonde mohair and mark at back side ; 1248 Germany Simon & Halbig Santa 16.

Here pretty bisque head is free of problems....no damage , chip , hairline , repair or other.... generally excellent condition. Pretty large and big German composition and wooden ball - jointed body with original finish.. note small color problem at here legs but all not disturbing.

Wearing very pretty with antique dress... undergarments... socks and shoes..and as finishing touch a pretty antique straw hat.

A most beautiful Santa with childlike expression by Simon and Halbig...Germany around 1895...in complete generally excellent condition !!!
