This pretty doll measures 23" tall and has a bisque shoulderplate on a jointed kid body. The back of her head is marked with a size number 13 and there are additional markings below the leather on the back of her shoulder plate but I don't want to tear the leather so am unable to see what they are. She has her original, intact plaster pate. Her blue eyes sleep and the lids appear the be original. Her hips and knees are jointed and her arms are constructed of a wooden ball and socket with leather covered upper arms and lower bisque arms. I haven't seen this configuration before, but I believe they are original.
The head is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, etc. One of the photos of the back of her head appears to show a hairline crack. This is a stray hair, as her head is free of hairlines, cracks, etc. There is some excess glue on her forehead which is covered by her bangs. She also has a kiln spec on one cheek and a tiny black line on the other. This appears to be either an errant brush stroke or could be a tiny hair from the artist's paintbrush. It is under the glaze, and is not a scratch. Her antique mohair wig is gorgeous and is soft and full.
She comes dressed in an antique white dress, with an antique lace slip and pantaloons. Her stockings are antique and the shoes are probably 20 years old.
She's a very pretty doll, with an exceptionally sweet face.
