This dress is very simple in style but could be dressed up a bit with a wide ribbon sash as there are 2 wide belt loops sewn onto the sides of the dress. The material is muslin and there is an embroidered design on the bodice. I would date this dress to about 1910-15. There are pleats sewn in on the front and back as well as on the long sleeves. There is a stain on the front and a lighter stain on the back. I have not tried to soak or treat the stains so they may lighten up with a gentle wash. There are no holes or tears and all of the original buttons are there.
Measurements: 22" long, 10" across the shoulder, 10" sleeve. There really is no waist to speak of as the dress is made to hang loosely unless a sash is used.
It's an adorable simple dress and would work well for a larger antique doll. I also have a near "twin" to this dress also listed in my shop. The only difference is that the embroidered design is slightly different. If you have twin dolls in need of dresses, these would be perfect for them.
