Victorian Era Handpainted Enamelware Hanging Laundry Rack~Sand, Soda, Seife

This metal/enameled laundry rack is beautifully handpainted with a design of blue flowers with gold leaves and vines. There are 3 containers that fit into the rack labeled, Sand, Soda and Seife, Seife being soap. Even though this was probably made in Germany, it has a wonderful French country appearance.

I love the fact that it has some very obvious wear, as can be seen from the photos, which gives it a refined, rustic appearance.

The rack measures 15" long, and 5.5" tall at the center of the back piece. Each of the containers measures 4" tall, and 4" across the opening.

It's a gorgeous piece of Victoriana which would look great in a laundry room, bathroom or kitchen.
