"Family Tree" - Fine Silver and Birthstone Crystal Necklace MADE TO ORDER

The focal of this piece is a pretty depiction of a tree. The image comes from a series of textures entitled "Whimsical Trees". This pendant, which measures 7/8" x 1-1/4" was created with Precious Metal Clay (PMC). The clay was rolled, stamped, cut, dried and kiln fired. The resulting Fine Silver* pendant was antiqued and polished to highlight the pretty design.

Accompanying the pendant is a series of Swarovski crystals. They represent the birth months of family members. I have also interspersed crystals in Crystal AB. These crystals have a pretty finish that flashes the colors of the birth stone crystals.

The pendant assembly is suspended from an 18" sterling silver 1mm beaded chain.

*Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. Precious Metal Clay is comprised of fine silver particles that are in a binder which burns away when fired in a kiln leaving only pure silver behind. This metal is gorgeous, and it is more resistant to tarnishing than sterling silver.
