Measuring seven inches across and 2 3/4 inches in height, this deeply scalloped fernier is a beautiful mold with it's rarely seen original liner. Both pieces are in excellent condition with only a few worn areas of gold, and with no chips, flakes, cracks, or restorations.
There are eight feet supporting this embossed Austrian ferner displaying rose transfers and gold filigree. The embossing follows along the top and bottom edges and the gilded rim is just very slightly worn.
The fine New York importer of European porcelains, Larzarus, Straus & Sons (L.S.& S)bought this porcelain company in 1884, and changed the name to Oscar & Edgar Gutherz. This is a wonderful 2-piece set choice for collecting and for display...
