Lenin, Vladimir Ilyich ( 1870–1924 ) a Russian revolutionary, the founder of Bolshevism and the major force behind the Revolution of October 1917.

Yakov Sverdlov was the son of a Jewish engraver, supporter of the Bolshevik faction led by Vladimir Lenin.

The postcard has been issued in 1965 in Moscow.
