Lien Deyers: Autograph on Photo Postcard. Sad Story.

Dutch actress Lien Deyers was discoverd by the great German director Fritz Lang for the film, "Spione". This was her breakthrough and many successful movies follwed.

She married the movie director Alfred Zeisler. When the Nazis came to power, she and her Jewish husband left Germany for England. In England, she couldn't find work in the film-business, so she and her husband went to the US to try their luck.

In the US, everything went from bad to worse. Her marriage to Zeisler failed, Lien became an alcoholic and had several legal problems – not to talk about private. The last time she was heard from, was in 1964, when she was jailed in Las Vegas.
