Michel Piccoli (born 1925) is a French actor. He was born in Paris to a musical family; his mother was a pianist and his father a violinist.

He won several prices in Cannes, Berlin ant at other film festivals.

Piccoli has appeared in films directed by Bunuel, including Le Charme discret de la bourgeoisie (1972) and Belle de jour (1967) – along with Caterine Deneuve. He has also appeared in many of the key films in French cinema, including Le Mépris, Les Demoiselles de Rochefort, Milou en Mai, and La Belle Noiseuse. He married Juliette Gréco in 1966.

Piccoli is politically active on the left, and is vocally opposed to the National Front.
