Art Aragon was a popular professional boxer between 1944 and 1960 in both the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions; his nickname was “Golden Boy” Aragon was very successful in both the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions.

He also had a fairly extensive list of TV and movie credits between 1952 and 1980- the most successful were The Ring (1952) and Fat City (1972).
