Adorable STERLING SILVER Necklace by Gorham - Two Birds Kissing!

AGE: C.1980 or so

ITEM: A silver and silver vermeil necklace composed of a very large pendant and a bit of fine twisted chain on either side. Manufactured by Gorham, the design is of two birds kissing amidst a bunch of ribbon and florals. A single drop is at the bottom, faux pearl I believe.

CONDITION: Very nice with a very HIGH shine to the piece. I don't think it's ever had the chance to tarnish!

METAL CONTENT: Sterling Silver

HALLMARKS: GORHAM Sterling on the back of the pendant; 925 on the lobster catch

SIZE: Neck length is 16-1/2". Pendant at the center measures 1-7/8" x 1-11/16" (to bottom of pearl).

WEIGHT: A hefty 16.1 grams.
