Pair of ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN 10K Gold & Enamel Lingerie Pins!

AGE: C.1900 or so

ITEM: A pair of yellow gold lingerie pins/beauty pins, each pin covered in a black enamel overlay and embellished by a single natural pearl at the center. C-catch at the back to hold the pinstem in place.

CONDITION: Very nice with a good lustre to the pearl and no chips/cracks to the black enamel.

METAL CONTENT: 10K Gold

HALLMARKS: None as is the norm with early pieces of American jewelry. Metal was acid tested for content.

SIZE: 7/8" x 3/16"

WEIGHT: 2.2 grams approx for the pair

FINAL COMMENTS: Possibly mourning pins but then again, maybe not.
