RETRO MODERN SIlverplate Necklace by Kaija Aarikka, Finland!

AGE: C.1960

ITEM: A retro modern silver necklace composed of chain and large "rings" soldered together. The necklace makes a bold statement and is totally hand fabricated by Kaija Aarikka of Finland.

CONDITION: Excellent with no problems I can spot.

METAL CONTENT: Silverplate

HALLMARKS: Kaija Aarikka, Finland.

SIZE: Neck length is 17-1/2"; length at the center is about 5".

WEIGHT: 65 grams

FINAL COMMENTS: From the artisan's current site..... "Kaija Aarikka designed her first silver jewellery back in the early 1960s. From then onwards Aarikka´s jewellery has been designed to bring out the pure beauty of silver with clear-cut, simple forms."

New postal rates and Import Regulations are in place for the shipment of jewelry to other countries.

My UNDER $35 listings I will ship First Class International however I can only calculate postage when I know where the piece is going so I'll put POSTAGE TO BE DETERMINED in the International Section. Rates have gone sky high since the new price increase - just as an example, 2 ounces to Canada is $6.49 (my average weight for sending), 4 ounces to Italy is $9.55. OUCH!

Any purchase OVER $35 must be checked against the new Import Regulations before I can send. Again, postage will be determined AFTER I check the regs. If you want to save time, please contact me BEFORE placing a large purchase order so I can give you a more accurate idea as to whether or not I can send and/or how much postage will cost. Each individual country now has its own particular set of rules regarding shipment.
