Vintage Sterling Enamel Norway Aksel Holmsen Tea Caddy Spoon

This lovely vintage caddy spoon is an unusual piece by Aksel Holmsen of Norway. Made of sterling silver with a gold vermeil wash, the piece features a handle finished with vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel in medium blue and white over a guilloche textured surface.

The spoon measures 3 1/2" by 1 5/8" and is in excellent condition. The back of the handle is signed 925S along with Holmsen's mark of overlapping smithy tools.
