David-Andersen Wave Brooch, Earrings, Bracelet Set Sterling Enamel Norway - White

This is the classic David-Andersen mid-century modern design called "Wave" in crisp winter white. This set of three pieces is quite hard to find, and includes clip earrings, bar pin, and bracelet. Featuring sterling silver with vitreous glass (kiln-fired) enamel, the dual pattern of the silver gives the impression of cresting waves as well as bubbles under the surface. The silver is enhanced with a rich gold vermeil finish.

Each piece is marked with "D-A" "925S Sterling Norway" and Andersen's scales maker's mark. All are in excellent vintage condition. The bracelet measures 7" by 9/16" long when closed; the bar brooch with simple c-clasp is 2 1/8" by 9/16"; and the clip style earrings are 15/16" by 7/16". Agnar Skrede designed the set for Andersen in 1954.
