Vintage 1914 830 Silver Scandinavian Dragestil Dragon Style Arts & Crafts Demitasse Spoon Set of Six 6

This classic dragon-style spoon set features the dramatic, swirling, Viking- and celtic-inspired motifs that inspired the Scandinavian arts and crafts movement at the turn of the last century. This particular pattern, I have discovered, was used by Jacob Tostrup and Magnus Aase of Norway, while this set is marked "O.W. 830S," which may be for O. Wulff of Copenhagen, Denmark (active 1893-1937).

Each spoon measures 5 1/4" long. In addition to the interlacing scrollwork with trefoil clover leaf and dragon-head accents, each spoon is engraved with a Gothic monogram that is either a "K" or an "H" (I have a hard time distinguishing them here). The back of each spoon is also hand-engraved with a date, "3-10-14" (either March 10 or October 3, 1914), possibly a wedding date.

The set is in very good condition, with little evidence of wear - it was probably a treasured heirloom, packed away for many years for safekeeping.
