This fantastic clock came out a very important estate in the South of Germany near Munich.The clock is made of the finest walnut and decorated with many gorgeous bronze ornaments.On top of the clock there is a fantastic woman head and below there are cherubs heads.Beside the brass dial there are two cherub heads with wings and the bronze pendulum is carved with two women!! The clock has an 8 days movement and is in fine working order.The chime is on an old spring gong and strikes every half and full hour.The beautiful brass dial and the handmade steel hands are fantastic! The bronze movement is signed on the back with the numerals" 54622" and probably made by Gustav Becker. Gustav Becker was a very famous clock maker in Germany at that time.No matter where you hang this clock everyone will be begging to know where you got such an outstanding clock and where they can get one like it! But believe me that will be difficult! It is getting extremely hard to find these high end antique wall clocks in this perfect condition!
