Mother-of-Pearl Necklace

Feather-light, this one floats around the neck like a dream. The mother-of-pearl shell in the center still has its baby pearls embedded in it and the dozen freshwater cultured pearls that form the rest of the necklace are a lustrous, textured, natural white.

I developed this style for myself a few years ago because I can't wear heavy necklaces and it's been very much appreciated by many of my customers. What a great piece to take on vacation...maybe just right for that winter cruise?

The cord is a strong, resilient material that has been created specifically for this use and ties it all together at 18", along with one of my 14k gold fill designer clasps.

Center bead is 35mm long and the fwc pearls are 10mm each.
