This is an interesting antique brooch dating back to c. 1910, there is an old sepia photograph under domed glass, of the Palace of Westminster, it probably was a Souvenir Brooch, bought by someone on their visit to London and proudly displayed. The picture is in good condition, it is set securely down into well of the brass mount and the crystal glass has protected it, there are four double claws holding the glass and four ornate corners, surrounding the mount, there is a secure C closure to the back. Souvenir brooches have always been collectible, this is the first example of a Westminster Palace Souvenir Brooch, that I have seen. It measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and the whole piece is in very good condition.
