Antique Double-Weave Coverlet*Snowball with Pine-tree Border~NY

Beautiful early Geometric Double-Weave Wool and Cotton coverlet in Pine Trees or Snowballs pattern. c1820-30's, made up in a 2 ply with navy blue side with white and red accents and a red side with blue and white. Has hand-stitched center seam joining 2 widths. Has hand-rolled hem at top edge, selvage sides and fringed bottom edge. Very heavy, like a rug. Coverlet measures about 70" wide x 86" long. In very good condition with a few moth holes, age yellowing to white snowballs and some wear to top edge-see pics. No fading, rips, repairs, weak areas or other flaws that I can find. Thanks & enjoy this reversible early textile from upstate New York.
