French Automaton circa 1880
You are viewing a French Automaton. It is 24" tall from the base to the top of her head. It does work and it plays a Viennese -style Waltz on it's music box movement. She has a beautiful hand painted bisque face. Marked on the back of the head Gbr 165 K GERMANY. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines to her head. She has blue glass sleep eyes. On her right top shoulder (see photo) the silk material does have a tear. The rest of dress and bonnet is in good condition. Buyer pays shipping and handling charges. CA. residents pay state sales tax. I do take layaway.
