14K Italian Shell Cameo of Athena Brooch, c. 1905

You are viewing a fine quality Italian carved shell cameo of Athena. The brooch measures 37.5mm long by 29mm wide. It is set in a 14K yellow gold frame marked on the clasp. The frame's border is hand hammered and hand engraved with foliate designs. There is a swivel on back to attach a chain to wear as a pendant.
