English Staffordshire Pitcher and Basin Set by Enoch Wood, c.1810

This smaller size pitcher and washbasin is a Staffordshire set produced by Enoch Wood c. 1810. It's getting difficult to find these smaller washstand pieces in mint condition, however, this is a perfect example. Beautifully embossed border on both pieces and the pitcher has an embossed basket of flowers on the body. Stylized flowers hand painted in blue, red and green. Elegantly scrolled handle. The name Wood impressed on the bottom. Wear on the thumb rest. Basin 4"h x 11"w, Pitcher 10"h x 7.5"w
