Pair of hand painted chalkware hanging plaques of Aunt Jemima-like women's faces. Each lady has her hair wrapped in a southern style red wrap with a tan bow in the front. A beige handkerchief tied below her chin and a red dress. They measure almost 6" long including the hooks and about 3 1/4" wide. Each plaque has 2 hooks at the bottom to hang small things on, such as keys. Each also had a metal loop in the back to hang these on the wall. There is some paint loss on both and a few chips, but that is what gives this pair character.
