Adorable Toddler Kammer and Reinhardt 116A, made c. 1910 is 16" tall. The heart melting look and the smiling expression that this toddler displays is the reason we buy dolls. She has a perfect bisque socket head with an open/closed mouth that shows 2 upper front teeth molded in which gives her such a happy expression! She is marked on the back of her head K*R S&H 116/A and down under that near, the bottom of the head #32. The perfect bisque head has no chips, rubs, hairlines or other damage. Her sparkling blue glass sleep eyes are surrounded with perfectly painted tiny eyelashes and nice light brown multi stroke, fly away eyebrows. This expressive, sought after doll has very crisp, clean molding and delicately painted and blushed bisque. A nice old wispy blonde mohair wig completes her charm. Body: Her original German Slant Hip Toddler Body retains the original finish, with the exception of a few areas of wear around the neck and joint edges. The cryer mechanism is no longer working. Clothing: She is wearing a blue silk dress with cotton pinafore and matching bonnet. Underneath she has a cotton batiste slip and pantaloons that are finished with 2 rows of small tucks and eyelet trim. Brown leather tie shoes and off white cotton socks complete her outfit.
