Beautifully crafted sterling silver vintage Mexican onyx choker collar necklace. The collar has a TS mark so it is after 1974. The collar is for a small neck and fits a 12 1/2"-13"(maybe a tiny bit bigger) neck perfectly. The collar is made so that it rests on the articulation of the lower neck and shoulders. It wears like it is custom made. The center piece in the front is 3 3/4"W X 7/8"L and the piece weighs a very substantial 157.5 grams. This is solid. The onyx are set raised and are 3/8"H. The piece has very surface scratches normal to normal wear and vintage. The piece is signed 925 for sterling, MEXICO and maybe 50something. The clasp opens easily and closes securely. As well made as any of the Antonio Pineda and other more well-known makers. Definitely made and designed by talent.
