A "Scentinel" perfume bottle encased within a wonderful metal flask with a bright mirror gold finish. By Mary Dunhill, Ca 1930's - 50's, this lovely perfume bottle comes with original flannel slip cover and green presentation box. The lay down perfume bottle is topped with a clear glass stopper and even a glass dauber. There is a little scent left, dark and syrup like.
The name "Mary Dunhill" is engraved on each end of the encasement. This piece was purchased from Fifth Avenue in New York and measures 2" round. Mary Dunhill's perfumes only graced the market for approximately 20 years, from the 1930's -1950's.
Condition: Near Mint! The heart shaped glass scent bottle is perfect as is the cute dauber. The bright and shiny gold flask has no scratches and only two pin spots on the smooth finish. No dents or dings. The flannel slip case is a bit soiled and the flap of the box is torn, all better than normal for these are items that were lost, ruined or tossed, indicative of use and age.
