Catch the light from one angle and you'll see a flash of blue. From another, the gleam of gold. The fire polished Czech glass beads and antiqued copper bead caps set off the subtle glamor of the faceted labradorite beads very nicely. The hooks are sterling silver.
According to an Eskimo legend, the Aurora Borealis was once imprisoned in the rocks along the Labrador coast of Canada. A warrior hit the rocks with a spear and freed most of the lights. Not all the lights were able to get free; we can see them to this day in these dangling earrings. These earrings are just under 2" long.
*LABRADORITE* is traditionally thought to bring good luck. It is also said to bring relief from anxiety and depression, replacing them with enthusiasm, self-confidence and inspiration.
