Adorable Candy Tin Little Girl and Her Dog! Embassy Toffee/Australia

What a precious old tin this is! I believe it is from the 1940's...could be 50's.....could even be earlier...but it's not new. There's an adorable little girl in her blue striped overalls and lace up shoes...striped shirt and socks....with curls and all! She's sitting atop bales of hay with her puppy, who looks quite content to be at her side. The blue skies behind her make for a beautiful tin.

The sides and bottom have a blue and silver allover design, and it sets on 3 little raised feet. In a circle on the bottom you can read..."G.L. Coles and Coy LTD....Melbourne...Expressly Packed for Embassy Toffees." This tin is Australian.

There is some wear, but all in all, it is a great little tin! Pictures tell the condition better than I! It measures 5" across the top, 4 3/4" across the bottom, and 1 3/4" tall. The sides are kind of a bulbous shape. You will love adding this to your collection of great old tins!
