1980's Evan Picone Long Scarf or Sash Paisley Plus!

This wonderful scarf or sash I believe is from the 1980's. I bought it in a very nice estate sale, where there were several blouses and other vintage clothes from the 80's, so I'm thinking this is from the same era. The sewn in tag says Evan Picone, so you know it was and IS a nice one! The colors are so warm in this sash, including navy blue, red wine, dark camel(almost a mustard color), grey, and cream colored. From the paisley design to what looks like compasses inside a circle, the contrasts and similarities of color and design make it just lovely!

This Evan Picone sash feels like a silky cotton. It is very soft, and although it will wrinkle "a bit," it's nothing like all cotton, so it may have some polyester included in the fabric...it isn't marked except for the brand name. The edges are perfectly finished, and it is so well made. It measures app. 51" long and 8 3/4" wide. Whether you drape it, tie it, or wrap around your neck a few times, this is a great accessory for your vintage wardrobe!
