Earlier Retired Pattern Brighton Black Leather and Faux Crocodile Handbag/Purse

This is not a shoulder bag, as there are two 15" long handles connected on both sides, in the front and back. The bag itself is app. 8 1/2" tall, so even with the handles it is only about 16" to the top of the handles. The front side has the beautiful silver ornamentation that Brighton is so popular for, plus the hang tag with the silver heart indicative of their brand. The silver is not sterling. I'm not sure what it is, but has some kind of plating that keeps it shiny and pretty. You can see a few spots that may need polishing, but I am selling it as is. The color is black on black...black faux croc on black leather.

The back side of the handbag has a pocket that is as wide as the purse and nearly 5 1/2" deep. The purse opens with a single zipper at the top. Inside, there is another zipper pocket, and on the outside of this pocket is the Brighton leather label. I was amused, although not surprised, when inside this empty purse that Mother hadn't carried for quite awhile, was the 8 1/2 x 11 original copy of the Brighton Promise and Guarantee that came inside the purse when she first received it. We are clearing her estate now, and have found receipts for just about everything she ever purchased for the home, so we were not at all shocked to find she still had this documentation. These purses are so well made!

There are 4 little metal feet on the bottom of this beautiful handbag so that it doesn't get scratched or dirty when it is set down. You won't be disappointed to own this Brighton purse yourself if you like the style! I sold the original box and dust bag for Mother many years ago; otherwise I am sure she would have stored this beauty in those.
