Here is a bracelet and earrings set with an aura of olden-day pomp and grandeur about it.
Our repoussé demi is an outstanding early Napier, antiqued silvertone, with a lush pattern of Nouveau-style ferns.
Shows the Napier company's roots as a silver chain and watch company in the late 1800s. It made medals and medallions during the early 20th century before settling on producing costume jewelry. It is most renowned for charm jewelry and ornate metalwork, such as displayed in our demi here.
The wide hinged bangle has a repeating pattern of lush ferns, each spread out like a fan with curling ends. Each fern is beautifully embossed and very detailed. The antiqued silvertone shows off the graceful curves beautifully.
Bracelet is 1 1/2" wide, and has a girth of 7". Has a side hinge and a hidden push-in clasp on the opposite side. Also has a safety chain.
Each earring is a majestic fern, the same size as in the bracelet. Earrings are about 1 1/2" x 1 1/2", with wireclips that are unique to Napier.
All pieces are marked Napier, in block letters.
In excellent condition, with little visible wear. This is as good as it gets.
