Ornate Antique Silver Frame w Crown Sword and Birds - Crossed Key Hallmark
A very strange little easel frame. What could all those symbols mean? One sharp beaked bird is hanging upside down just below the crown and another right side up. At the bottom is a sword and what appears to be a bow. I would date it c1890. Please see my photo showing the marks. I tried but was unable to find any reference to them. If a viewer knows what I have here, any info would be greatly appreciated.
The condition is good, the only issue being that 4 tabs have broken off ages ago, leaving the top & bottom ones which is fine, they are enough to hold the photo & glass in place.
Please click on my photos to enlarge them for a closer look.
