Double Deck Fournier "Far East" Playing Cards, Isabel Ibanez de Sendadiano Designs, c.1980

Mint, sealed double deck of "Far East" playing cards, made by Fournier, c.1980, with designs by Isabel Ibanez de Sendadiano. The designs of the court cards of each suit depict traditional figures and dress from a country of the Far East: Spades for Japan, Hearts for India, Diamonds for Indonesia, and Clubs for China. The Aces have original designs reflecting the cultures of these countries. The first 2 pictures are of the set here listed; the remaining pictures are from another set listed in this shop (T00002741).

Each deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers, and a card announcing the deck. The the cards are wide, measuring 88mm x 63mm, with gold gilt at the corners. They come in the original sleeve type box.

As noted, the cards and box are sealed.
