Piatnik "Casablanca" Preference Playing Cards, Artist Unknown, c.1983

Wonderful deck of preference cards made by Piatnik c.1983 to advertise the Austrian cigarette brand, "Casablanca," featuring very amusing original court card designs, artist unknown, and Aces with packs of Casablanca cigarettes.

The deck is a "preference" deck – named for a popular card game in parts of Europe – with 32 cards, the same as a skat or piquet deck; the deck also has an extra blank card. The cards are large and wide, measuring 98mm x 65mm, and come in the original box.

The cards are "as new" and the box is in excellent condition with very slight shelf wear.

Thanks for visiting.
