Nintendo "Maxim Freeze Dried Coffee" Playing Cards, Artist Unknown, c.1960s

Wonderful deck made by Nintendo advertising "Maxim" coffee, a freeze dried coffee prominent in the 1960s. It is my understanding that Maxim is still made and distributed in some Asian countries, but I have dated these cards to the 1960s, when it was popular in the U.S. I do not know who designed these cards, but the court cards are delightful, depicting the Kings, Queens and Jacks with a cup of coffee. Please note that there are four original designs: 2 Jokers the same, 4 Kings the same, 4 Queens the same, and 4 Jacks the same.

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers. The cards are bridge size, measuring 88mm x 58mm. The came to me in a plastic box inside a sleeve, and will travel to the buyer in that box, but the box and sleeve are not original to these cards.

The cards are as new. The plastic box is in excellent condition; the sleeve has abrasions.
