Mint, sealed deck of exceptional cards made by Piatnik c.1990 for the Finnish Building Center (Rakennustieto), titled “Play Architecture,” featuring brilliant original designs on all 52 cards celebrating great architects and architecture; the artist is unknown. The first 2 pictures of the actual deck for sale; the remaining pictures showing the faces of the cards are from an open deck.

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers, and an extra card announcing the deck. The two Jokers are Prince Charles and Jacques Derrida, and the court cards are famous architects, including Gaudi, Saarinen, Le Corbusier, and Gropius. The Aces and pip cards depict famous buildings and design-related art. The cards are bridge size, measuring 89mm x 58mm, and come in the original hard plastic box.

As noted, the cards are mint and sealed. The box is “as new.”
