Two decks celebrating Texas and its history, as follows:
* A mint, sealed deck of poker size cards, made by USPCC and published by E&S Co., honoring the Presidency of LBJ, with cards that give facts about the state of Texas. Picture 3 below shows the faces of some of the cards from an open deck, but, as shown in pictures 1 and 2, the actual deck here for sale is mint and sealed. The deck has 52 cards, plus a Joker, plus 2 additional event cards. The cards have square corners
* A deck of bridge size cards, made by Alief Products Co., originally published to celebrate the sesquicentennial of the State of Texas, c.1986. However, this deck is a later edition (references to the sesquicentennial on the box have been removed), and the Jack of Spades references the election of George W. Bush to the Presidency in 2000. Except for this card, I believe that the other cards are the same as those that appeared in the 1986 sesquicentennial deck. There are 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers. The faces of the 52 cards each contain an illustration of an aspect of Texas life by Texas artist S. Wayne Cook. The 2 Jokers depict the original designs of the 6 flags that have flown over the State of Texas, and below them the Lone Star Flag that has flown since 1839. The cards are "as new" and the is in excellent condition, with only minor signs of wear.
Each deck is available separately for $15.
THE PRICE SHOWN FOR DOMESTIC SHIPPING ASSUMES THAT BOTH DECKS ARE PURCHASED. THE COST OF SHIPPING WILL BE LESS IF ONLY ONE IS PURCHASED.
